Summer Reading Challenge 2020
June 8 - August 8
Grades 6 - 12

We are happy to announce a new online Summer Reading Challenge through Beanstack with Challenges for all ages. Online registration for Beanstack begins June 1. Logging of reading and activities begins June 8.
To Get Started:
-Register for a Beanstack account by clicking here.
-Parents/guardians can create one Beanstack Family account and add all family members to the account as Readers.
-Sign up each family member for the appropriate Reading Challenge based on their age or grade.
-Download the Beanstack app from the App Store or Google Play Store to make logging super simple.                                              
-Want a paper log? Download and print one here.

Teens 6th – 12th grade.

 New 6th graders may choose either the Kids or Teens Challenge.

-Goal: read or listen 20 minutes a day. Print books, ebooks, audiobooks, e-audiobooks, and graphic novels all count toward the goal, and they do not have to be from the library.

-Log each day of reading in Beanstack.

-Every 7 logged days will earn one raffle entry for our prize drawing at the end of the summer.

-Complete 35 days of reading: earn a free book!

-To complete the challenge, you must also do the BINGO activity badge and review one book. You will earn another free book if you complete this challenge!

-The same book may be counted for BINGO, the review challenge, and your daily reading.

-Completion of the BINGO and Community Explorer activity badges earn you a prize from the Treasure Box.

-Grand prizes at the end of the summer include gift cards to local businesses.
