Summer Reading: Teen Read

Teen Oceans of Possibilities Banner

Explore Oceans of Possibilities this summer at your library! The Teen Summer Reading Challenge will take place from June 6--August 6, 2022. Pre-registration opens May 27 on Beanstack. This challenge is open to students going into grades 6-12. Sixth graders may choose between this challenge and the Kids challenge.

Read as many days as you can this summer! Try to read at least 20 minutes in one day. Read what you want. Read books from home or from the library. Read books you’ve read before. Read e-books, newspapers, and magazines. Read in your house or outside. Just READ.

Everybody who registers for the Teen Summer Reading Challenge will receive a free book. To earn a second free book, log 35 days of reading on Beanstack or on the paper reading log. Anyone who would like an extra challenge can read three of the ten Thumbs Up! Award winners (selected by a committee including your favorite teen librarian) and earn a third book.

No ADL card is necessary to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge!
