We are happy to announce a new online Summer Reading Challenge through Beanstack with Challenges for all ages. Online registration for Beanstack begins June 1. Logging of reading and activities begins June 8.
To Get Started:
-Register for a Beanstack account here.
-Parents/guardians can create one Beanstack Family account and add all family members to the account as Readers.
-Sign up each family member for the appropriate Reading Challenge based on their age or grade.
-Download the Beanstack app from the App Store or Google Play Store to make logging super simple.
-Want a paper log? Download and print one here.
Any high school seniors who are already 18 may participate in either the Teens or Adults Reading Challenges.
-Goal: read or listen 20 minutes a day. Print books, ebooks, audiobooks, e-audiobooks, and graphic novels all count toward the goal, and they do not have to be from the library.
-Log each day of reading in Beanstack.
-Every 7 logged days will earn you one raffle entry for our prize drawing at the end of the summer.
-To complete the challenge, log 42 days of reading and complete one book review. The same book may count toward both your daily logging and your review.
-Prizes include a variety of Imagine Your Story-themed items and gift cards.
