Roadside Reflections

Thursday, October 3, 2019

Roadside Reflections is an exhibition of photographs by artist Jackson Faulkner showcasing the beauty in abandoned barns, cars, and other relics of the past. In Mr. Faulkner's own words: "Through my images, I give the viewer a chance to feel the glow of twilight as it appears over an abandoned barn or experience the silence of a century old prairie grain elevator waiting for the next harvest . Every image tells a story that needs to be told. The very history of our nation is collectively dissolving before our eyes. If we choose not to honor and remember our past, we will suffer more than the loss of a building or a tractor. We will lose the collective history of who we were and who we are, and our future generations will be poorer because of it." This program will feature a multimedia presentation and have time for a Q&A. No registration required.
