Best suited for ages 2-5 with a favorite grown-up

30-40 minutes of stories, fingerplays, puppets, songs, movement, flannelboards and more that support Early Literacy and are FUN!  No need to register. Come when you can.


Make-It Monday

Monday, January 16 (MLK Day)
K - 5th grade: 1:00 - 2:30
6th - 12th grade: 3:00 - 4:30
Drop in to make something awesome. There will be a variety of craft, art and maker projects for each age group.


Makers @ the Library

We are joining forces with the Lincoln School MakerClub and offering a variety of opportunities for kids to create, explore, tinker and MAKE! Come to one or both sessions. No registration.


Library Lego Fun

Make something based on one of our Lego challenges or create something of your own.


Drop-in Spring Break Week

Kids. Teens. Don't be bored! Make one of our fun projects to take home and/or play our Egg Scavenger Hunt.


Comic Drawing Workshop

Do you like to draw! Do you like comics? Manga? Then this workshop featuring cartoonist and teaching artist Jerzy Drozd is for you. Contact the library to register.

The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight of Michigan, aka Batman, will share a Batman story and be available for photos and autographs. Fans of all ages invited to attend.

Registration requested as space is limited.

FREE, 30 minute program featuring short solo selections by an Adrian Symphony Orchestra musician plus rhymes, songs and a picture book that inspire movement and careful listening.

Designed especially for children ages 2 - 6 and family members

and at 1:30 pm at the Tecumseh District Library



Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Tuesday, May 2
6:30 pm
Kids: bring a stuffed animal friend to the library. Enjoy stories, songs and more together. Leave your friend behind to spend the night and have an adventure. Registration required. Space is limited!

Save the Date for Eric Litwin and Pete the Cat

Pete the Cat author and musician Eric Litwin will be performing and selling and signing books. More details to come including the location of the concert.
