    Library Board Meeting The Adrian District Library Board will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 19 at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the library's Community Room, located in the lower level of the building at 143 E. Maumee St. in downtown Adrian.
  2. Wed Oct. 20

    All Ages Drop-In Storytime Enjoy books, songs, rhymes, flannel-boards, puppets and music and movement activities that actively engage young children and support early literacy skills. Storytime will be held outside in Library Square weather permitting through early October. Bring a blanket for the family to sit on. Unfavorable weather location will be the library's Community Room.
  3. Mon Oct. 25

    Jazz and the Civil Rights Movement Master flautist and jazz historian Galen Abdur-Razzaq will be presenting virtually on how jazz was used as an instrument of expression during the Civil Rights Movement. Listeners will gain both an understanding of how the music was used during that time period and an appreciation of jazz music in general, including its cultural background and historical significance in many eras.
